About Kilyn Roth
Hi, my name is Kilyn Roth, the founder of Faithful Paws Publishing, wife, mother, children’s author, and recent empty nester embracing a new season of writing,
ministry, and purpose.
I’m a former broadcast correspondent and journalist turned Christian writer and speaker, as well as a retired Stonecroft Ministries speaker and longtime Awana leader who finds joy in encouraging others and sharing God’s love through story and service.

I grew up in Colorado and graduated from Wheatridge High School, later earning my bachelor’s degree from Metropolitan State University of Denver and working on my M.A. at Colorado Christian University. My mother, a teacher and librarian, planted in me a lifelong love for books, learning, and imagination.
I first discovered my own love for writing through journalism, through reading books aloud to my daughter, and through writing ministry messages that connected hearts to God’s truth. That spark grew into a calling and
I have since found joy in writing stories that point children to God’s love, hope, and purpose.
Through my journey, God has taught me that His love meets us in every chapter of life. That truth inspires me to write stories that encourage, uplift, and remind others that God is faithful in every season.
When I’m not writing, you will often find me cherishing time with my family, diving into God’s Word, taking long walks with our dogs, or enjoying peaceful moments at home with my husband, our children and their spouses and of course, our faithful dogs, who are never far from my feet or my heart.

One of my greatest joys is seeing children grow in faith and confidence. If you really knew me, you would know that I cry at every dog story and believe that sometimes God uses paws, tails, and gentle brown eyes to teach us about His heart.
~ Why I Write ~
My heart behind every story is to help children and families know God’s love in a personal and meaningful way. I believe that stories can plant seeds of faith, bring encouragement, and draw families closer to Jesus, one page, one lesson, and one moment at a time.
