This space was born out of a new season in my life as a recent empty nester, combining my lifelong love of storytelling, my heart for animals, and my desire to give back.

Here, I share the journey behind my children’s book Adam, Eve and the First Dog. a whimsical and faith-filled story of God’s friendship with man, woman, and dog.

Through the Heart of a Dog podcast, you’ll hear beautiful stories, some about rescued dogs, others simply about how a loyal companion has touched someone’s life. Musicians, artists, and everyday dog lovers open their hearts to remind us just how powerful that bond can be.

A portion of all book and podcast proceeds goes to support our local humane society, helping give more dogs the second chance they deserve.
